Built for the Future Health Digital Innovation Challenge

Every actionable result, carried all the way to care.

Lupora closes the screening-to-care loop. It gives every result one shared case, a named owner at every step, clear messages that patients understand, and closure that is only recorded when the care has actually happened.

The problem

Screening finds it early. The hand-offs lose it.

An actionable result passes through labs, screening programs, primary care, specialists and hospitals. At each hand-off it can become unclear who owns the next step, whether the referral became an appointment, or whether the patient even understood the result.

The result is delayed diagnosis and treatment, anxious patients who don’t know what happens next, and no single view of who is still waiting for care.

The loop

Eight steps. One owner at a time. No silent drop-offs.

Lupora follows each result through every stage and holds someone accountable until it is closed with evidence.

How it works

Built around what patients and care teams need

01

End-to-end case visibility

Every actionable result is one shared case, from the lab report to documented closure. Labs, screening programs, GPs, specialists and hospitals all see the same timeline.

02

A clear owner at every step

Each step has a named owner and an agreed deadline. Cases that are overdue, rejected or unassigned go to the top of the right team’s worklist, never to the bottom of an inbox.

03

Reassurance for patients

Patients get plain-language messages in their own language, by SMS, WhatsApp, voice or app. They confirm what happens next in their own words, and anyone who is confused or worried is passed to a person.

04

Consultation across providers

Patients can reach a clinician quickly, and clinicians can consult each other. Referrals are tracked until they are accepted, so hand-offs between organisations don’t drop the patient.

05

Escalation governed by people

Clinically urgent and unusual cases go to qualified staff straight away. A case can only be closed when the evidence is attached or an authorised clinician signs it off.

06

Measured impact

Lupora tracks time to notification, confirmation, consultation and care, completion of referrals and appointments, reasons for delay, and how confident patients feel.

For patients

Always know what happens next

Hi Mariam, your screening found something we’d like to check more closely. This is common and usually treatable when found early. Your next step is a short clinic visit. Can we book it for you?
Yes please, but I don’t have a way to get there.
Thank you for telling us. Your care navigator, Sara, will call you today to arrange transport. 💛

AI, safely

AI does the busywork. Clinicians make the decisions.

Lupora’s AI never diagnoses and never closes a case. It drafts, translates and prioritises. Qualified staff review its work and remain accountable.

Explains results clearly

Drafts a plain-language explanation and translation of each result. A clinician reviews it before it reaches the patient.

Spots barriers early

Picks out transport, cost, language or fear in patient replies, so a navigator can help before the patient drops out.

Prioritises the worklist

Ranks overdue cases by clinical urgency and how long they have waited, so the riskiest gaps are handled first.

Prepares the hand-off

Assembles referral letters and consultation summaries from the case history, ready for a clinician to edit and send.

Start small

One clinic. One pathway. Thirty days.

Week 1

Map the pathway

Choose one screening pathway with one clinic, and agree the owners, deadlines and baseline measures.

Week 2

Prototype on synthetic data

Set up the case register, timeline, worklist and patient messages using synthetic, de-identified data.

Week 3

Test with real users

Coordinators, nurses and clinicians work through realistic cases and tell us where the loop still breaks.

Week 4

Supervised pilot

Run a governed pilot with clinical oversight and compare it against the baseline.

Future Health Digital Innovation Challenge

Our response to “Closing the Screening-to-Care Loop”

Lupora is our entry in the Future Health Digital Innovation Challenge, part of Future Health, a global initiative by Abu Dhabi. It answers the Population Health challenge, which asks how every actionable screening result can lead to timely communication, consultation, confirmation, referral and documented closure.

About the challenge ↗
  1. 20 Nov 2026
    Prototype submission
  2. 20 – 30 Nov 2026
    Expert panel evaluation
  3. 7 – 11 Dec 2026
Top three teams present at GITEX

Let’s close the loop together.

We’re looking for screening programs, clinics and health systems to co-design and pilot Lupora on a single pathway.
